JAPAN EXPO set for expansion into Malaysia and Myanmar in 2017

Word has it that GYu Creative, the organiser behind Japan Expo Thailand, will be bringing their successful Japanese culture exhibition concept to MALAYSIA and MYANMAR this year. The most recent edition of JAPAN EXPO THAILAND was held from 10-12 February at CentralWorld Bangkok earlier this year.

The expo, which showcased Japanese tourism, food, fashion, traditional and pop culture, and more, featured famous personalities such as singer PIKOTARO of the sensational "Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen" song, mega female idol group AKB48 and more than 10 other idol groups brought in by Tokyo Crazy Kawaii Bangkok for this year's edition.

JAPAN EXPO MALAYSIA 2017 is slated to be held from 28-30 July at Pavilion KL while JAPAN EXPO MYANMAR 2017 is slated to be held from 11-13 October at Novotel Max Yangon, according to Thai news website The Nation Bangkok.

The websites and Facebook pages for the respective events are already up, along with several press articles on the Internet. More details are expected to be released soon.

Japan Expo Thailand was an immensely entertaining and exciting event which the XDantheManX Online team really enjoyed. If Japan Expo Malaysia and Myanmar are to be anything like the same, they would certainly be a welcome addition to the Japanese events calendars of both countries.

One of our team members, Nakitty, has chronicled his wonderful experiences over at his personal blog, Nakitty Channel.

Until then, do keep a lookout for more details and we'll certainly be keeping our eyes peeled too!
