Singer Ayaka Kitazawa held her first overseas live in Singapore

"Kud!" The entire hall erupted in applause as Ayaka Kitazawa strode onto the stage cosplaying fan-favourite Little Busters! character Kudryavka.

Hailing from Saitama, the Japanese singer held her first overseas live in Singapore at the CharaExpo Entertainment Stage on 21 June. She performed as part of the VisualArts/Key Special Live Stage, which included a talk show segment with both music producer Shinji Orito and herself.

Early-bird tickets for Eir Aoi's first solo concert in Singapore on Oct 3rd Jan 9, 2016, will go on sale on July 3rd, from 10am onwards, organisers Japan Music Festival announced today. The concert will be a standing concert with admission on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The 27 year-old, famous for singing theme songs to animes High School of the Dead and A Certain Magical Index, joined animation director/mechanic designer Masami Obari, together with New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) wrestlers Togi Makabe and Hirooki Goto in the ring for a special Sunday morning talk show at new anime, comics and games (ACG) convention CharaExpo in Singapore on 21st June.

Hokkaido-born singer Ayano Mashiro held her first performance outside of Japan over the weekend of June 20th and 21st, at the inaugural CharaExpo anime, comics and games (ACG) convention in Singapore. The up-and-rising singer has been invited to perform at Anime Expo 2015 in Los Angeles next, on July 4th.

Yanagi Nagi, Hachioji-P and livetune will return to Singapore this September! They will be performing alongside singer-model Anna Yano, J-POP duo CAPSULE and dance group TEMPURA KIDZ at the first MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON FESTIVAL in Singapore. The line-up of performing artistes for the event's live concert was unveiled on its official Facebook page on 16 June.

Therefore, when I got wind of news that the girls would be releasing a new single for 2015, I was no doubt ecstatic. In addition, she announced that she will be performing on both days of CharaExpo. KonnichiWUG! With 17 days to go, the stage schedule for CharaExpo has been released. The line-up matches with the previously announced stage highlights. However, a notable addition is the Ultra Super Pictures Special Stage, which could feature Sendai idols Wake Up, Girls! performing live for the first time in Singapore. CharaExpo has yet to respond to our queries regarding this mysterious new inclusion at press time.

A short MV for "Never Ever", Tokyo Girls' Style's first single since quitting the idol scene in April 2015 has been released. The 19th ending theme for the anime Fairy Tail is their first release since declaring that they would be artists during their solo concert in Shibuya Public Hall on December 20, 2014. The single will be released on 24 June 2015.

Fresh off their first world tour with 41 sell-out performances in 9 countries, SCANDAL is not hitting the brakes anytime soon. The Japanese girl band announced their long-awaited 21st major single (24th overall) "Stamp!" this morning, their first in 8 months and first of 2015. Their previous single, "Image" popped last November, making this the longest wait between singles for fans.
