Hi guys
Sorry for this correction to the "Overhaul" post.
I think we're gonna be removing the cute little penguin that you can play with from the sidebar as a gadget. You can only feed it fish and make him fall into the water so it doesn't seem to be of much use.
Anyway, its name Tux was inspired by the Linux mascot, the penguin, Tux too. Well, we're gonna say bye bye to Tux, aren't we?
Talking about the Open-Source community, we're still going to include the Ubuntu Linux gadget on our sidebar with a countdown to the next Ubuntu distribution (every 6 months) and the release. Ubuntu is a Linux distribution.
That's all

Hi guys
I'm rearranging some of the sidebar gadgets today and giving them some "cooler" names. I will be updating the imeem playlist soon to a new music player that allows you to stream full tracks (imeem has a 30-second restriction now).
As you know, I have already removed the Obama news and video gadgets, and I'm also going to remove the "The Strain Trilogy" sidebar gadget. We are all now waiting for the second book in the trilogy, "The Fall".
For more information on The Strain Trilogy, you can check out the following links:
That's all for now, I think, until I update the music player.

Hey readers!
Over the past year, XDantheManX Online has cenn constantly supporting the first ever black American U.S. President, Barack Obama in his long election campaign and presidency. We did put up a "Vote for Obama" gadget on the sidebar which included a link for you to "vote" for the next U.S. President.
When the election results were announced on Election Day and Obama won the presidency, we took down the "voting" gadget because obviously, he had won. Not long after, we put up an all new Google News and Google Video gadget, "Support Obama" giving you the latest and exclusive news and videos of Mr Barack Obama himself.
Well, I have frequently checked that gadget for updates this year but the news and videos seem to be getting a bit outdated, dated 2008 so we are all going to say "Bye bye Obama" from all of us here at XDantheManX Online. We are going to be taking down the gadget from the sidebar and best of all, you can still find the latest news and media about Obama on the Internet anyway.
We will miss Obama (gadget).
Ciao

Hey all!
Here are some good news for fans of Marvel Comics.
Come December 2009, Marvel is starting on a brand new "SIEGE (of Asgard)" storyline that brings a possible end to Norman Osborn's "Dark Reign" epic.
Ever since he killed the Skrull queen and ended the "Secret Invasion" saga, Norman Osborn has been given the authority to rule the world while Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man, Director of Shield has been kicked out and has since kept a low profile. Osborn has completely overhauled the Marvel universe, changing various objects such as the Dark Avengers, Dark X-Men, the new Thunderbolts special forces unit and most significantly, SHIELD to HAMMER.
Many comic readers may like this "Dark Reign" storyline while some may not. Anyway, what we are going to see come December 2009 may be an end to this catastrophe. Norman Osborn has stroked off and eliminated many superheroes on "Dark Reign- The List" and the only thing that seems to stand in his way is Asgard, the land of the Gods, the Mighty Thor and his evil brother/sister, Loki.
Marvel's greatest heroes unite against the deadliest threat they've ever faced, but even they have no idea what's coming next. The most jaw dropping comic book event of the decade begins in December with SIEGE: THE CABAL and continues in January's SIEGE #1! Don't miss the free prologue to SIEGE on Marvel Digital Comics too!

Hi all!
GI JOE is a nice movie, I'll be coming out with the late reviews of that movie which I watched on my B'day but I am going to be removing the now-outdated GI JOE gadget from the blog's sidebar.
However, you can still view the quick post with the gadget at http://xdanthemanx.blogspot.com/2009/08/gi-joe-movie-widget.html and the post is still probably on the blog homepage.
Adios!

Hey guys!
After what seems to be a 2-month long hiatus, the guys at XDantheManX Online are up and running again!
My last post was in August 19, 2009 and it has been a really way long time since I last blogged. I had my Common Tests in mid-August, followed by a week-long September holidays (which I wasn't allowed to use the computer). I have been studying really hard for my End-of-Year Examinations (EOY) in early October and I do hope that I get some really good results.
The test papers were fairly average, and I think I did well for some of them, such as Chinese, English, Science... Hope that the Overall results in my Progress Report are as great as well. You may have seen me online on WLM for some days or so but I did not blog then. Well, since now the exams are over and I have worked so hard, it seems the Perfect time to relax now during the holidays. Everybody love the holidays, don't they.
XDantheManX Online is basically BACK and I am thinking of getting a major facelift for this blog. Getting a new blogskin and stuff like that. Make this one of the most popular and widely read blogs on the Earth. I shall spent some time on that, and meanwhile, you can enjoy the latest news, gossip, buzz, entertainment, reviews on XDantheManX.Co.Cc and I am also going to be posting some old To-Do posts that I made a mental note of in the past.
We welcome all helpful suggestions and you can reach me by e-mail at my Blogger Profile (About Me) and we can stay connected on all fronts by social networking such as Plurk!, Twitter and Facebook, which you will be able to find on the sidebar too. Don't forget to join the XDantheManX Online group on Facebook and Become a Fan of our Facebook Page too!
Stay tuned and check this space for updates on XDantheManX.Co.Cc!

Haven't updated my blog in a while. Here are some quick posts and updates to freshen this blog and update it!
Recently, I played the all new Lady Gaga Lovegame on Facebook as it was a new game and I thought that it would link with her song itself. Unfortunately, there was an outburst of unsuitable content for young children and I strongly feel that you all shouldn't play it. There are six things that Lady Gaga will do to you (try to score them all and get lucky).
The six things are:
I managed to get Lady Gaga to do all these things to me but some people were a little bit shocked and posted some comments. Anyway, I've embedded Javascript tags for you to reveal them if you want to.
Please check out our Plurk and Twitter pages for updates at the gadgets on our sidebar and our Fan Box for the XDantheManX Online Page for Facebook! Follow us on Twitter and Become a Fan on Plurk!
You can play the official Lady Gaga Lovegame on Facebook if you wish, by the lady herself at Lady Gaga Lovegame Facebook. :D
Speaking of singers, I heard a humourous joke while studying for my Common Test major exams for the past two weeks on the Muttons to Midnite show on local radio station, 987FM. The joke was:
What do you call a singer and jelly mixed together?
The Answer: LADY AGAR
Har har de har... ~ bleah...
Nelson Piquet in a Fila Sport (Brabham) F1 car in his glory days
"I really tried everything to make that temporary comeback possible. However, much to my regret it didn't work out," he added.
"Unfortunately we did not manage to get a grip on the pain in the neck" which arose after he tested an old Ferrari at the Mugello circuit in Italy, Schumacher said.
Therefore, he will be unfit and unable to race for Ferrari. Instead, Ferrari long-time test driver Luca Badoer will make his F1 return in place of Felipe Massa. Badoer last raced in F1 in 1999 with Minardi and has been a Ferrari test driver since 1997 and despite starting 48 races, he has yet to score a point.
Valencia is a relatively new track, just like Singapore's Marina Bay Street Circuit night race last year. Both hosted their first F1 race in the 2008 season.

The big news are finally out!
Michael Schumacher is preparing for an epic revival of his F1 career by standing in for Brazillian Felipe Massa, who was injured and suffered a head concussion during last Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix, when a loose spring dislodged from Reuben Barichello's Brawn and hit him, causing him to crash into a tire safety barrier. During that race, Fernando Alonso, Renault's two-time F1 world champion who has been linked with a move to Ferrari in 2011 had to retire to his garage after his front-right wheel flew out of his car as it was not properly secured in the pit lane. Renault has been banned from racing in the next European Grand Prix.
As we all know, Valencia is in Spain and Spain is Alonso's home country. There will be many fans turning up for the race, just like the other Spainsh Grand Prix in Madrid earlier this year, just to catch a glimpse of their favourite hometown hero. Many fans will be disappointed and Renault is appealing to the FIA. Alonso was linked with a one-off with Ferrari during the Valencia race as there was no driver standing in for Massa perviously but however, times have changed and Alonso will not be able to race until Reanult's appeal has been approved.
Michael Schumacher has just been announced as a replacement driver for Ferrari for Felipe Massa and he shall be standing in for Massa until Massa fully recovers and is deemed fit to race. Massa will probably be doubtful to race for the rest of this season and Schumacher may stand in for him for the rest of this season. Michael Schumacher is now 40 years old and he officially announced his retirement from F1 in 2006 but he is now making a possibly temporary comeback.
Michael Schumacher had won 7 world titles, the largest amounted by any F1 driver and he is called the King of F1. However, in his later years, possibly in 2005 and 2006, he failed to defend the world title and lost it to Renault's Fernando Alonso who went on to win in 2005 and 2006. Schumacher then officially announced his retirement in 2006 at the end of the season. Alonso went on to drive for McLaren for a year in 2007 and finished 3rd, behind rookie Lewis Hamilton, whom he thought had been given preferential treatment by the team.
Alonso returned to Renault in 2008 and he preformed averagely in an underperforming F1 car, the ING-sponsored Renault F1 team. Previously, Renault had been sponsored by Mild Seven and Alonso was famous for winning with their blue team shirt. Alonso made a breakthorough in the later stages of the season when he went on to win the Singapore Grand Prix and Japan Grand Prix in succession, winning the world's inaugural night race and finished well in the last few races too.
This year, we have seen Alonso performing fairly well but he is not at the top of the standings and many have supposed that the Renault car is underperforming yet again. Now that we have reached the later stages of the 2009's F1 season, will Alonso make a big improvement as he showed us in the last season. With Michael Schumacher coming back to race, the man whose retirement was possibly threatened by him as a result of the 2005 and 2006 world championships, will Alonso show us his winning spirit and determination?
Will Alonso make a revival? Will he make Renault proud? Will he beat Michael Schumacher and make him retire once again just like he did in 2005 and 2006? Possibly. XDantheManX supports Fernando Alonso of the ING-Renault F1 team in winning Michael Schumacher or finishing higher than him in the races after Valencia. Hope that there will be no safety problems once again. Renault is losing another major sponsor in ING after they had announced to stop all activities in F1 so Alonso has to work hard to attract new sponosors for the Renault F1 team.
Maybe he will be sigining for Ferrari possibly in the next year or few years later but he will stay in Renault for now, the team that helped him to win his two world chamiponship titles. We wish Alonso all the best in his future F1 races just as we had wished him a Happy 28th Birthday in the last post and this rivalry between Michael Schumacher and Fernando Alonso will attract more viewers and gain awareness of the sport. Although it is just a friendly rivalry like it was in 2005 and 2006 and not as bad as the rivalry with Lewis Hamilton in 2007 at McLaren, it will make for good action and sport.
We will see M Schumacher for Ferrari and F Alonso on the same race score board again in the races after the European Grand Prix in Valencia and it will be very exciting indeed.
I'm Daniel Lee of XDantheManX Online and we will be having LIVE coverage updates of the future F1 races on our official Plurk, Twitter and Daniel Lee's Facebook profile just like we did for the Hungarian Grand Prix and s few other races. Check this space for updates and stay tuned!
Have a good time ahead and I strongly support Fernando Alonso!

RE: This post was supposed to be posted yesterday and I posted it yesterday but I think I accidentally saved it as draft. So, Fernando Alonso's birthday is actually on Wednesday, 29 July. Yep.
Hi guys! This a just a short post also found on the XDantheManX Online on Facebook group page and in the inboxes of those who are fans or members of XDantheManX Online on Facebook.
Alonso's turning 28 today and we would like to wish him
HAPPY BIRTHDAY FERNANDO ALONSO!!
Fernando Alonso is one of the best drivers in the world and he is a two-time world champion with the Renault F1 Team. He left for McLaren in 2007 after his two world titles in 2005 and 2006 but the spell at McLaren was only brief
XDanthemanX supports Fernando Alonso all the way and it's his birthday today! Fernando Alonso turns 28th and he's still young to drive in an F1 car. His team Renault were banned from the next race in Valencia, the European Grand Prix.
But he may race for Ferrari in a one-off during the next race. Massa is still recovering from last week's accident during the qualifying of the Hungarian Grand Prix and Renault team boss Flavio Briatore may release Alonso to Ferrari for that one race.
Will it happen? Will it not? Seriously, XDantheManX hopes that it may happen and that may certainly give us a preview of how Alonso might perform in a Ferrari F1 car when he may join the Italian sports car manufacturer's F1 team in 2011. We hope for all the best and wish Alonso a Happy Birthday!

Hey guys.
Check out Fernando Alonso's official website, http://www.fernandoalonso.com/DEFAULT2_i.cfm?seccion=0!
Be sure to click on the English version on the sidebar or else it's all in Spanish.
Thank God there's English.
Daniel.
LATEST NEWS FROM TWO-TIME WORLD CHAMPION FERNANDO ALONSO
Alonso retires at lap 17/10 after leading from pole position and he finally retires after encountering some front-right tyre problems. Saw him limping with three tyres on his F1 car after that one flew out and he had to pit at the garage soon after.
Sad. Disappointing. Uneventful.
As this is Fernando's 18th career pole, I thought that he might lead from start to finish but unfortuantely, not as the front-right tyre was loose and it ruined the whole race. Tyres. Damn tyres. Sigh.
Hope you'll do well in the next Grand Prix and make us proud.
I just hope that Lewis Hamilton who is leading won't win this race and instead, Kimi Raikonnen of Ferrari in 2nd place wins!
Aarrgh. I don't care about the Kop Comes to Asia match when Liverpool plays Singapore tonight. The score is currently 0-5 to Liverpool at the 93rd minute and Liverpool will just OWN Singapore. Math ending soon. I can hear the final whistle on TV. Alright, that's all for tonight. Fernando Torres doing much better than Fernando Alonso. LOL.
